所在地 台東区浅草2-3-1 （浅草寺）
昭和39年（1964）に再建されたこのお堂には、石造の「六地蔵尊」が安置されており、その下に「寛永通宝」が埋められているといわれることから「銭塚」の名がある。
江戸時代、摂州有馬郡に山口なる者がおり、その妻がある日、庭先で寛永通宝が沢山入った壺を掘り当てた。だがこれに頼って働かずにいては、家は滅びてしまうと考え、誰にもいわず再び土中に埋め戻した。この心掛けによって一家は繁栄したので、この壺の上に地蔵尊を祀ったという。
お堂のご本尊は、そのご分身を勧請したもので、商売繁昌のご利益があるといわれる。
毎月「四の日」と正・五・九の各月二十四日に法要が営まれ、参拝者は塩と線香とローソクをお供えする。特に塩をお供えするので「塩なめ地蔵」の名もある。

Zeniduka Jizoudou Hall
Stone sculptures of "Roku-Jizou" are enshrined in this temple reconstructed in 1964.The coins of the Edo period called "Kanei-Tsuhou" are buried in the ground of this temple.We call this temple "Zeniduka-Jizou" after the coins.
In those days,there was a man who named Yamaguchi.One day,his wife dug up a crock filled with coins "Kanei-Tsuhou" in the yard of their house.She thought that if they had relied on the money and had not worked,their family would have declined.So she reburied it.As a result,the family became prosperous and they enshrined "Jizou" above the underground coins.Therefore we call this area "Zeniduka",that is "Coin Mound" and people say this "Jizou" gives fortune to believers.
